This project replaced glass within the City Center Tower in downtown Kansas City as part of a building-wide renovation in 2018. Timekey performed glazing subcontract work for JE Dunn within the ground floor lobbies and 28th floors. At the ground floor, existing structural elements blocked access to overhead glass, requiring setting robots to maneuver glass into place. At the 28th floor, work was performed between 2 and 5 am as the street below needed closed off for safety. These unique challenges required careful preparation, planning, and coordination with the GC, and building occupants. The project was completed successfully, on-schedule, and without incident.
