Kansas City, Missouri
Zhou B Art Center
This project featured a mixture of new curtainwall, historic punched windows, and interior glass. Glazing subcontract work was again performed under GC AL Huber in 2023. The overall project renovated the abandoned historic Crispus Attucks Elementary School, transforming it into the Zhou B Art Center. Curtainwalls were placed atop new concrete footings, and tied into a new roof. Historic replica windows were provided by Quaker. Work was completed on schedule for the museum’s grand opening, and serves as a visual representation of Timekey’s various glazing abilities just outside downtown Kansas City.
